What is the ruling on a person saying, "O Allah, no envy," during conversation to ward off the suspicion of envy?

The word "Allahumma" is a form of address, as if the speaker said: "O Allah," as in the Almighty's saying: ﴿Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty"﴾. Directing oneself to Allah Almighty with the phrase "la hasad" (no envy) carries one of two meanings: either it is a declaration to Allah of the heart's freedom from envy, which is permissible if it is true; or it is a supplication, such as: "O Allah, do not leave envy in my heart for this person," which is permissible and presents no issue.
