What is the lesson from the description of perdition in verse 14 of Surat Al-Furqan: "Call not this day for one perdition but call for many perditions"?

The cry of "Woe!" (thuboor) is described as frequent due to the multitude and severity of torments, or because of their renewal, as in the verse: "Every time their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the torment." [4:56] Or it is due to its unending nature. Thus, Allah forbade them from crying "Woe!" just once and commanded them to cry out frequently because of the repetitive and varied nature of the torment. The meaning is: do not cry out just once; rather, cry out many times, for the torment they are in is far more severe than that, due to its prolonged duration and endlessness.
