Is there a Hadith that necessitates seeking provision with dignity and self-respect, and should one reject a job opportunity with an arrogant person?

A believer is required to live with dignity and self-respect in seeking sustenance and in all their actions and words, in fulfillment of the Almighty's saying: "And to Allah belongs all honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers." The Hadiths have urged chastity, dignity, and not demeaning oneself in seeking sustenance. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, the Holy Spirit inspired in my heart that no soul will die until it completes its term and receives its full provision. So, fear Allah and be graceful in seeking." This guides us to seek sustenance with dignity and to preserve self-respect, while noting that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge from poverty, scarcity, and humiliation. A believer should not demean themselves by exposing themselves to tribulations they cannot bear. Therefore, if the work will expose you to humiliation and indignity, do not accept it. Strive for honorable work that preserves your dignity, and do not despair, for your destined sustenance will come to you.
