Is a blood offering obligatory for one who used to go to the Haram for Hajj from 1:00 AM and return to Mina at 3:00 PM for the stoning?

The majority of scholars are of the view that it is obligatory to spend the nights of the Days of Tashreeq in Mina. If you have spent most of the night (more than half of it) in Mina, then no sacrifice (dam) is required of you. However, if you spent most of the night outside Mina, then a sacrifice (dam) is incumbent upon you (a sheep to be slaughtered and distributed among the poor of the Haram).
