Is it permissible for me to count the Tasbih with my fingers in Salatul Tasabih?

Counting the tasbih in supererogatory prayers (nafl) is a matter of differing opinions regarding its permissibility and reprehensibility. Some Hanafi scholars explicitly stated its absolute reprehensibility, while the Hanbalis held it to be permissible without reprehensibility. Some jurists are of the opinion that counting with the fingers is permissible when there is a need, such as counting verses or tasbihat in Salat al-Tasbih, and this is what Ibn Qudamah and Al-Buhuti preferred. Ibn Uthaymeen indicated the permissibility of counting verses, dhikr, and rak'ahs with the fingers or in the heart, especially for the Imam when there is a need.
