How can one avoid migrating to a woman, or a man, or to this worldly life, instead of migrating to Allah and His Messenger, taking into account the noble Hadith: "Indeed, actions are by intentions, and indeed, every person will have what they intended. So, whoever's migration was to Allah and His Messenger, then their migration is to Allah and His Messenger. And whoever's migration was for worldly gain that he acquires, or a woman he marries, then his migration is to what he migrated for"?

The mention of migration in the Hadith is an example, and what is meant is that all deeds, whether migration, Hajj, or Jihad, if performed by someone who does not intend thereby the Face of Allah, but rather desires a worldly purpose, then he will not be rewarded for them. So, the soundness or corruption of deeds depends on the intention that prompts them. Thus, whoever migrates to the Abode of Islam out of love for Allah and His Messenger, and a desire to learn the religion, he is truly the one who migrated for Allah and His Messenger. As for one whose migration was to acquire some worldly gain or to marry a woman, his migration is for that which he migrated. All other deeds are like migration in this sense. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about the differing intentions of people in Jihad, and he replied: "Whoever fights so that the Word of Allah is supreme, then he is in the way of Allah."
