If the intention is for the pallbearer to stop with the bier at the aforementioned places, then this is an innovation (muhdath) that goes against the Sunnah, because the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded expediting the funeral procession.

However, if there is a need to stop for rest, there is no harm in that. In this regard, stopping in front of these places or other places is the same, as long as the reason for it is what has been mentioned.
