How can the interpretation of "women who blow on knots" as sorceresses be reconciled with Allah's saying: "And the sorcerer will not succeed wherever he goes"?

The verse: "And the magician will not prosper wherever he goes," does not negate the existence of magic and its effects. The verse itself states: "they have صنعوا كيد ساحر (made a magician's trick)," which indicates the magician's work. "Will not prosper" means he will not remain, nor attain his desire, or that he will be killed wherever he is found, meaning he will not be happy, nor succeed, nor be safe wherever he is found.
