What is the analysis of the four schools of thought and the opinions of other scholars regarding the issue of the Adhan on Friday?

Scholars have differed regarding the number of adhans (calls to prayer) for Friday prayer. The majority of them (Hanafis, Malikis, and Hanbalis) preferred that there be two adhans for Friday, following the practice of 'Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), and this is what is practiced in most cities. However, Al-Shafi'i held that only one adhan is preferable, which was the practice during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, and 'Umar. The matter is broad, as both approaches are correct.
