Is it permissible to relocate the congregational mosque to another place and demolish the original mosque, or convert it into a health clinic?

Legally, it is permissible to convert a mosque and replace it with another if there is a benefit or a need for it, as affirmed by the meticulous scholars. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah reported that the Companions did so.
