Does Islam encourage loving and appreciating others as human beings, regardless of their religions and ethnicities?

Islam's view of humanity is based on mercy, and this is manifested in the call to Islam, filial piety towards parents even if they are disbelievers, enjoining good treatment of neighbors, justice and kindness towards non-belligerent disbelievers, prohibiting the killing or oppression of those with whom covenants have been made, and prohibiting aggression. Actions contrary to this, committed by their perpetrators, are not attributed to Islam. Being kind to disbelievers does not imply heartfelt affection or alliance with them, and Muslim women are not permitted to marry non-Muslims, nor is there compulsion in religion. Punishments in Islam, such as those for the fornicator, thief, and slanderer, are a mercy to prevent crimes and maintain security.
