Which encyclopedias should I acquire, Ibn Kathir or Sayyid Qutb?

Ibn Kathir's Tafsir is more worthy of acquisition and study than Sayyid Qutb's "Fi Dhilal al-Quran" (In the Shade of the Quran) due to its inclusion of Quranic interpretation through the Quran itself, the Sunnah, and the sayings of the Companions and their successors.
