What is the ruling on watching dubbed Indian and Turkish films, and what is the evidence for their prohibition?

Movies and TV series, including Indian, Turkish, and Arabic ones, often contain forbidden elements such as women's immodest display (tabarruj), unlawful mixing of sexes, music, romantic words, and scenes of kissing and embracing, all of which incite unlawful desires. Their producers choose the most beautiful faces for excitement and thrill, which negatively affects viewers and leads some to take these actors as role models. The work of these artists is forbidden because they beautify indecency, and watching these series is forbidden. It is not permissible for a Muslim man or woman to watch them, or to allow those under their guardianship to watch them. It is incumbent upon a Muslim to lower their gaze from what Allah has forbidden, as Allah Almighty says: "Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do" [An-Nur: 30-31], and to protect themselves and their offspring from the causes of deviation and vice.
