Is lawful money acquired after repentance from a previous usurious loan devoid of blessing due to the commitment to repaying the usurious loan over five years, given the inability to pay it off in a single lump sum? And what should one do to avoid Allah's torment in this world and the hereafter after repentance?

Usury is one of the major sins. Whoever falls into it must hasten to repent, frequently seek forgiveness, perform good deeds, and humbly supplicate to Allah to accept their repentance.

As for repaying a usurious debt, only the principal amount should be returned, without any increase, based on the Almighty’s saying: "But if you repent, you may have your principal – [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged." If you are compelled to pay the increase, there is no sin upon you, and the sin rests with the lender.

Blessings in wealth and provisions come through obedience and righteousness. The Almighty said: "And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth." Disobedience, however, wipes out blessings.
