The Hadith "I was a hidden treasure, unknown, and I loved to be known, so I created creation and made Myself known to them, and they recognized Me" is a fabricated Hadith, falsely attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. This was stated by Ibn Taymiyyah, Al-Zarkashi, Ibn Hajar, and Al-Suyuti, as it has no known chain of transmission, neither authentic nor weak.
