Was the practice of reciting the Qur’an in congregation and quickly after the Asr and Fajr prayers (not for learning purposes) present during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?

Reciting the Quran collectively in one voice after prayer is a reprehensible innovation (bid'ah makroohah) because it contradicts the practice of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions, and due to his saying: "Whoever performs an action which is not in accordance with our matter, it will be rejected." It also causes disruption. As for each person reading individually, or studying the Quran by taking turns and listening, that is among the best acts of closeness to Allah, based on his (peace be upon him) saying: "No group of people gathers in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, angels surround them, and Allah mentions them among those with Him." Similarly, collective remembrance (dhikr) in one voice is considered an innovation due to the reason of causing disruption and contradicting the practice.
