Did all the Prophets perform the Hajj, and will Jesus (peace be upon him) perform the Hajj upon his return, and is there a Hadith to this effect?

Scholars have differed regarding the number of prophets who performed Hajj to the House. It was said that all prophets from Adam to Muhammad performed Hajj. It was also said that all prophets performed Hajj except for Hud and Salih. Another opinion states that seventy-five prophets performed Hajj. And it was also said that all prophets after Ibrahim performed Hajj.

As for the most authentic narrations in terms of chain of transmission, they indicate that seventy prophets performed Hajj to the House, among them Musa. This has been reported in good (hasan) hadiths.

It is also confirmed that Jesus (peace be upon him) will descend at the end of time and will declare his intention for Hajj, or Umrah, or both.
