Is it permissible for the husband to divorce his wife due to the impossibility of continuing the marital relationship, based on his request?

Allah has legislated reconciliation between spouses through admonition, separation (in bed), and sending two arbitrators from their families in case of discord. If these means are ineffective, divorce or ransom (khul') is permissible. Divorce with kindness is better than persistent disagreement if the purpose of marriage no longer exists.
