Is it permissible for a school principal to exempt a teacher from their lessons, thereby depriving students of them, especially physical education classes? And will the student be an adversary on the Day of Judgment to whoever deprived them of these classes, given that government school instructions do not permit this except by assigning a substitute teacher?

If the authority responsible for education does not permit a certain action by the director, then he is not allowed to do it. He must adhere to work regulations and contract terms, because Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts," and "Do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know." And because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."

It is not permissible for a teacher to obey their director in wrongdoing, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator," and "Obedience is only in what is right." The teacher should advise the director, and if he does not respond, the matter should be escalated to the responsible authority.
