Is it permissible to postpone the Eid prayer to Monday due to heavy snowfall preventing going out to perform it on Saturday, and is an immolation offered before this prayer considered a valid immolation?

According to the majority of jurists, the time for the Eid prayer begins when the sun has risen to the height of a spear and extends until zawāl (zenith). However, the Shafi'is hold that its time begins with sunrise. The preferred time is when the sun has risen to the height of a spear, and it is recommended to make it up if it is missed.

There are various scenarios for making up the Eid prayer: 1. If individuals miss it (while it was performed in congregation): The Hanafis and Malikis believe it is not to be made up. The Shafi'is believe it is permissible to make it up at any time and in any manner. The Hanbalis believe it is not to be made up, but whoever wishes to make it up is given the choice of praying it as four rak'ahs with one salām or two salāms. 2. If it was not performed in congregation at its time (due to an excuse): It is permissible to delay it until the second day if the sighting of the crescent moon was delayed until after zawāl. This is the view of the Hanafis, Shafi'is, and Hanbalis, while the Malikis believe it is not to be made up in this case. 3. Delaying the Eid prayer without an excuse: If it was Eid al-Fitr, it is forfeited and not to be made up. However, if it was Eid al-Adha, it is permissible to delay it and make it up on the second or third day of the days of Naḥr, with a blame on anyone who has no excuse.
