Do problems between spouses have a cause and a cure, knowing that the wife is twenty years old and the husband is thirty years old, and they have been blessed with a child?

To achieve affection and understanding between spouses, patience is necessary, as well as overlooking mistakes, disregarding slips, focusing on the good aspects of the other party's character, and treating the wife with kindness and wisdom. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And treat women kindly."

Both spouses should repent to Allah, observe the obligatory duties, and avoid sins, because calamities descend due to sins. Ibn al-Qayyim said: "Indeed, they (sins) remove blessings and bring about misfortunes. No blessing is removed from a servant except due to a sin, and no misfortune befalls him except due to a sin." It is also recommended to cooperate in obedience to Allah, frequently remember Him and seek His forgiveness, and be persistent in supplication.
