Do a mother's anger or sins affect one's provision, is a lack of provision predetermined and decreed, and what should a girl who is unmarried and feels lust or a need for appreciation do?
Straitened sustenance, delayed marriage, and other similar matters occur by Allah's decree and divine will, for a wisdom from Him, the Exalted. Therefore, the servant must exert the lawful means and be content with what Allah has apportioned for him, for all of it is good. Sins deprive the servant of sustenance and obliterate blessings, whereas obedience to Allah, honoring parents, and maintaining kinship ties are among the causes of abundant sustenance. True happiness lies in faith, contentment, and satisfaction, and this world is too insignificant for one to grieve over its scarcity. Regarding delayed marriage, patience, supplication, and repentance are advised.
