What is the ruling on Hajj performed as part of competitions and Hajj performed secretly by an individual as a service to pilgrims?

Scholars differed regarding the permissibility of receiving compensation in cultural competitions that have an Islamic benefit, and the preponderant opinion is that it is permissible. If receiving compensation is impermissible, then the Hajj is valid though sinful. If receiving compensation is permissible, then there is no objection to the prize being a Hajj ticket, as what is required is that the Hajj be undertaken through permissible means. As for the second method, if it involves lying, then it is impermissible due to the deception and unfair competition against those who are not entitled. However, if going out to serve pilgrims is a reality and then Hajj becomes easy, there is no objection to that.
