How can a girl complete reading the entire Qur’an multiple times in the Ramadan, and is listening to Qur’an tapes and completing them attentively considered a full recitation?

The questioner is congratulated on his interest in reciting the Qur'an, for it is a great blessing. It is permissible to complete the recitation of the Qur'an in seven days, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying to Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas: "Recite it in seven [days] and do not exceed that." Recitation with tartil (slow, rhythmic, and melodious recitation) and contemplation is better, as stated in His Almighty's saying: "And recite the Qur'an with measured recitation" (Quran 73:4) and "A Book We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses" (Quran 38:29). Listening does not suffice for recitation, even though it brings reward, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will have a good deed for it." Listening is desired and beloved, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved to hear the Qur'an from others.
