Has God accepted my repentance, and will He punish me in this worldly life for what I have sinned, especially after my sin has spread and I know that going to the place of sin may lead to my destruction or the loss of my job?

If a servant sins and then repents with sincere repentance, Allah accepts their repentance. Sincere repentance involves abstaining from the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, while also concealing it. If the sin involves the right of another human being, then it is a condition to restore their right or seek their forgiveness. If you repent with sincere repentance, Allah Almighty will not punish you for your sin in this world or the Hereafter, because repentance obliterates what came before it. Allah's trials of a servant may be for elevating their ranks and purifying them, not as a punishment for sins. So, increase in righteous deeds, remembrance of Allah (dhikr), and supplication (du'a).
