What is the ruling on the family of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt) eating from the dates, water, and meals distributed in the Haram and the holy sites during Ramadan and Hajj? Are these considered gifts or charity?

Scholars have agreed on the impermissibility for the family of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to consume from obligatory Zakat. However, the majority of scholars are of the opinion that it is permissible for them to take from voluntary charity. It is also permissible for them to eat from the food distributed in the Two Holy Sanctuaries and during the Hajj rituals, as this is not considered obligatory charity.
