What is the fate of non-Muslims on the Day of Resurrection, especially those who received a distorted version of Islam, or a general concept that was vague and unclear, or those who were not reached by it at all?

The People of Al-A'raf are those whose good deeds and evil deeds are equal. They will enter Paradise after their Lord manifests Himself to them.

As for those whom the call of Islam did not reach, if they exist in this era, scholars have differed regarding their ruling in the Hereafter. The most probable opinion is that they will be tested in the plains of Resurrection. However, in this world, they are considered disbelievers, and it is obligatory to call them to Islam.

Those whom the call of Islam has generally reached are obligated to research and investigate, otherwise, they are among the people of the Fire, unless they are unable to research, in which case their ruling is like those whom the call did not reach.

Whoever received the call distorted and was unable to know the truth is excused. However, whoever was able to research but did not, the proof has been established against them.

The establishment of proof does not require argumentation; rather, it is sufficient for the call to reach them clearly and for its meaning to be understood. It is not a condition to understand the preponderance of the argument.
