Would a committed young woman accept marrying a religious young man of good character, whose job, however, requires him not to deal with certain categories of committed people, thereby raising her concerns about the future impact of that on her social relationships?

The correct criterion for choosing a spouse is piety and good character. One should perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and seek consultation. If the suitor is committed to his religion and character, his hesitation to associate with some religious individuals due to his work circumstances does not matter, unless he prefers the company of wicked people over good ones; for a person is upon the religion of his close friend, and a companion draws one along. Therefore, one must choose the good companions, based on the Almighty's saying: "And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His Countenance. And let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the worldly life; and do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose affair is ever exceeding the bounds." The advice is to perform Istikhara, seek consultation, ensure the young man's commitment, and then agree, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If there comes to you one whose religion and character you approve, then marry him."
