What is the interpretation of Allah Almighty's saying in Surat al-Buruj: "in a Preserved Tablet"?

The Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz) is a tablet on which things are inscribed. It is the repository of Allah Almighty's decrees, preserved from any increase, decrease, alteration, or change. The Qur’an has indicated the preservation of the Preserved Tablet and the preservation of its location. All that has been said about its location or the material from which it was created belongs to the Unseen, which can only be accepted through revelation.
