What is the Shar'i ruling regarding a wife who describes her husband's family with the ugliest characteristics and does not wish to serve them, while the husband fears injustice to his children if he divorces her?

The husband is advised to be patient with his wife and to be understanding with her, explaining to her that part of good companionship is for her to be good to his family and to help him honor his parents and maintain ties of kinship. The mediation of righteous people can be sought to convince her of this. He should also conceal his kindness to his family from her and be gentle with her, for diplomacy with women is required and brings affection. He should also strive to reconcile between his wife and his family by fostering harmony, conveying good words, avoiding what incites animosity, and concealing what leads to it. This is not among blameworthy lying.
