How can the constriction of provision and the accompanying poor psychological state be interpreted, despite having good qualifications and striving in obedience, while seeing others who exert less effort receiving abundant provision?

Success and salvation are only achieved by realizing servitude to Allah through obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions. It is not permissible to abandon obligatory duties under the pretext of seeking provision, and whoever worships Allah and strives for provision is not a fatalist but one who relies on Allah.

Beware of expressing boredom or discontent with poverty or illness, and remember Allah's many blessings upon you. Look at those who are beneath you in wealth and creation so that you do not belittle Allah's blessings upon you. Trust in Allah and have a good opinion of Him, for all of Allah's decrees are good and expiate sins. The believer gives thanks in prosperity and shows patience in adversity.

Increase your faith through the Quran, remembrance of Allah, and attending gatherings of knowledge. Turn to Allah with supplication and seeking forgiveness, for whoever fears Allah, He will make a way out for him and provide for him from where he does not expect. Cling to Allah and rely on Him, for He is the Provider of sustenance.

Take the means to earn provision, strive to obtain it, and be content with what has been allotted to you, for whoever wakes up safe, healthy, and has the provision for his day, it is as if the entire world has been granted to him.

Beware of envying your colleagues, for envy is forbidden and is ill manners with Allah, and it pains the heart. Strive against yourself to abandon envy, for Allah has forbidden it and commanded its avoidance.
