Is it permissible to pray Dhuhr at the workplace on Friday while listening to the Friday sermon via loudspeakers, knowing that there are urgent work circumstances preventing one from going to the mosque?

Whoever misses the Friday prayer due to a valid excuse should pray Dhuhr. It is permissible for him to pray it at the beginning of its time, or in its middle, or at its end. It is recommended for one whose excuse is expected to cease not to pray Dhuhr until he is certain that the Friday prayer has been missed, such as when the Imam raises his head from bowing in the second rak'ah. However, if delaying the Dhuhr prayer would lead to its time expiring, then it is preferable to pray it earlier.
