There is no objection to using this technique, provided that it does not cause harm, that it is performed by a specialized female doctor, and that it is not applied to the 'awrah (intimate) area. It is not permissible for a man to perform it, nor for a woman to perform it on the 'awrah area of the treated woman, as there is no necessity that permits the exposure of the 'awrah.
