Is it permissible for a woman to work in a fashion magazine for veiled or unveiled women, as a model, editor, or otherwise?

It is not permissible to work in fashion magazines that feature immodestly dressed women (mutabarrijat). As for fashion magazines for veiled women (muhajabat), it is permissible to work in them if they adhere to the Islamic conditions for hijab and do not necessitate the female worker falling into a forbidden act according to Sharia. Otherwise, it is not permissible. As for a woman working as a fashion model, it is not permissible, even for modest fashion (hijab fashion), due to the strong likelihood of temptation and corruption, and because the entire woman is considered 'awrah (private parts that must be covered).
