Is placing a Mus'haf in a place of Hajj considered among acts of goodness and charity?

There is no doubt that dedicating a Mushaf (copy of the Quran) or beneficial Islamic scholarly books in the holy sites or other places is considered a righteous deed and an act of goodness, because it is an aid to good and a guide to it. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, We - it is We who give life to the dead and We record what they have put forth and what they left behind. And all things We have enumerated in a clear register." (Quran 36:12), and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever guides to a good deed is like the one who does it."

Specifically concerning the Mushaf, a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, states that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, among the good deeds and merits that will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge he taught and spread, a righteous child he left behind, a Mushaf he bequeathed, a mosque he built, a house he built for wayfarers, a river he caused to flow, or charity he gave from his wealth during his health and life; these will reach him after his death."
