Will a father's prayer against his daughter, asking that she not be blessed in her money because she applied for a job without his knowledge, even though the reason was poverty, lead to her suffering from excessive debt?

A parent should only supplicate for good for their child. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade otherwise, saying: "Do not supplicate against your children... lest you coincide with a moment when Allah is asked for a grant and He answers you." The supplication of a parent against their child is undoubtedly answered. We advise seeking the parent's رضا (contentment) and asking for their forgiveness, and frequently reciting the supplication for repaying debt that is mentioned in the Sunnah: "O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful against Your unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty beyond anyone else."
