Continue to honor your father, and do not pay attention to the anxieties of his displeasure, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade supplicating against children. The supplication of parents against their children may not be answered unless it is due to disobedience and injustice from the children. And it is from Allah's mercy that He does not answer a parent's supplication against his child in a moment of anger. You must renew your repentance and frequently seek forgiveness.
