What should I do if fasting does not alleviate lust in a mixed-gender university?

The temptation of women is great, and the greatest protection against it is lowering the gaze, as Allah Almighty commanded in Surat An-Nur. Looking is the gateway to evil and the messenger of immorality, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The fornication of the eye is looking." Lowering the gaze and fulfilling the gratitude for this blessing by using it in obedience to Allah extinguishes the fire of lust and severs the snares of Satan.
