It is permissible to benefit from the water of all wells, except for specific wells mentioned by the jurists. These are: the wells of the dwellings of Thamud, with the exception of the well of the she-camel (Naqa), and the well of Dharwan, into which the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) magic was cast, and the well of Barhoot. As for wells other than these, there is no harm in using their water, and their being subordinate to a Hindu temple does not necessitate their prohibition, unless using them leads to corruption.
