Does one who is born after the sun rises from its setting have the right to repent?

Repentance is not beneficial after the sun rises from the west. The proof for this is Allah Almighty's saying: "The day some of the signs of your Lord come, no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or earned through its faith some good." (Al-An'am: 158). The signs here refer to the sun rising from the west. The prophetic hadiths have also indicated this, stating that repentance is accepted until the sun rises from the west. As for the assertion that the closing of the door of repentance is exclusive to the people of that era who witnessed the event, it is a weak assertion. Repentance closes universally with the sun rising from the west and remains closed until the Day of Judgment.

As for the question about those who are born after the sun rises from the west, it is an unnecessary burden, because when the major signs of the Hour appear, they follow one another like beads on a string. A Muslim should therefore occupy himself with what benefits him, such as repentance and uprightness, and abandon delving into unnecessary issues.
