Is it permissible for someone whose circumstances did not allow them to perform the Friday prayer to pray it while the khatib is delivering the sermon in the mosque?

It is not permissible to miss Jumu'ah prayer except for an excuse like illness. And whoever has an excuse is not permitted to pray Jumu'ah individually; rather, he prays Dhuhr. It is permissible for the one with an excuse to pray Dhuhr after its time has begun, but it is better for him, if he hopes for his excuse to cease, to wait until people finish Jumu'ah. As for one who does not hope for their excuse to cease, like a woman, prayer at the beginning of the time is better.
