Is there an explicit Hadith regarding the supplication of Qunut in the Dawn prayer? And should it be recited silently?

The issue of qunut (supplication) in the Fajr prayer is a matter of scholarly disagreement. Those who affirm its legitimacy have cited explicit hadiths that many scholars have authenticated, among them the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed qunut for a month, supplicating against them, then he stopped. As for the Fajr prayer, he continued to perform qunut until he departed from this world." Narrations have also been reported from Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them) indicating that they performed qunut in Fajr.

As for reciting the qunut aloud, authentic hadiths have been reported concerning it. However, the Malikis hold the view that it is preferable to recite it silently, by analogy with other supplications.
