What should I do about my husband who beats me and curses me with vile language in front of my children, knowing that my siblings are asking me to leave him, but I don't want to leave my children?

A piece of advice for the husband is to fear Allah regarding his wife and treat her kindly, recalling the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The best of you is the best to his family." And for the wife, she should be patient, respond with kindness, absorb her husband's anger, advise him, remind him of Allah, and present him with some booklets and tapes about marital relations and good companionship. If these attempts do not work, then she may request a divorce, relying on Allah to care for her children.
