Is the use of the noble verse: (And if you ask them for anything, ask them from behind a screen; that is purer for your hearts and their hearts) as evidence for blocking the doors to temptation in online forums correct, what is the ruling on men and women hosting each other in them, and to what extent is the questioner's objection to these hostings legitimate?

First: Women's participation in forums should be restricted to interacting with women, and men's participation should be restricted to interacting with men, to avoid the corrupting influences and misuse that occur from both parties.

Second: The noble verse (And when you ask them [his wives] for anything, ask them from behind a screen. That is purer for your hearts and their hearts) is a correct proof for the obligation of Hijab on all women, and that its ruling is not exclusive to the Mothers of the Believers, or addressed only to the Companions; because the reason mentioned in the verse—which is the purity of hearts—is evidence for generalizing the ruling to all Muslims, as explained by Sheikh Muhammad Al-Amin Al-Shinqiti.
