The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Hassan ibn Thabit: "Lampoon them, or satirize them, and Gabriel is with you." And in another narration: "And the Holy Spirit is with you." And in yet another narration: "Indeed, the Holy Spirit continues to support you as long as you defend Allah and His Messenger." And the Holy Spirit is Gabriel.
