What is the ruling on nepotism and favoritism prevalent in employment and education, and the resulting injustice to others and deprivation of their opportunities? Are the wealth and certificates obtained through these means considered unlawful? And what is the way to get rid of this unlawful gain?

Intercession for one who is undeserving, and taking what is not rightfully theirs, is a bad intercession for which its perpetrator is sinful. This is deceit towards Muslims, a betrayal of trust, and an infringement upon the rights of the deserving. Whoever obtains a certificate through deceit or forbidden intercession is not obligated to repeat their studies; rather, they should seek Allah's forgiveness and continue their work if they are proficient in it. Otherwise, they must leave it.
