What is the ruling on going to sorcerers and soothsayers and believing their statements without proof, and how does a person ward off accusations that may amount to adultery, and what is the correct action towards accusers, even if they are parents and siblings?

It is not permissible to go to sorcerers and diviners and believe them. Whoever believes a soothsayer has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. And whoever goes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. Accusing believing men and women without evidence is forbidden by شرع (Islamic law) and is a clear sin. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, linked slandering a Muslim with indecencies to polytheism and magic. And for anyone who is accused of such charges, they have the right to defend themselves, even by raising the matter to the ruler. Dealing with parents and relatives differs; parents should be advised, and the sinfulness of the act should be explained to them without argumentation or offense. Similarly, siblings should be advised and reminded, and patience and forgiveness are better.
