How will the sun rise from the west, given the current alternation of night and day on the Earth's surface? And will the Earth be flat then, or will its rising from the west encompass a specific part of the Earth before others?

The Prophet informed us that the sun will rise from its west before the Hour (Day of Judgment), but it is not known whether this will encompass the entire Earth or only a part of it, or if it will complete a full revolution in its reverse motion. Its rising from the west before the Hour indicates that the Earth will remain in its usual spherical state and is not flat, because the Earth will be stretched on the Day of Judgment, not before it, as stated in His (Allah's) saying: "When the heaven is split asunder (1) And listens to its Lord and is rightfully obedient (2) And when the earth is stretched forth (3) And casts out what is within it and becomes empty." There is no practical implication in researching this matter.
