Is it permissible for one in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) to supplicate to Allah and remember Him, especially with the pre-sleep invocations?

It is permissible for a person in a state of ritual impurity (junub) to supplicate to Allah and to remember Him, and this includes sleep remembrances and others, based on the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) "used to remember Allah in all his states." Therefore, remembrance through glorification (tasbih), declaration of Allah's oneness (tahlil), magnification (takbir), and praise (tahmid) is permissible in all states, by the consensus of Muslims. However, reciting the Quran while in a state of ritual impurity is forbidden, whether from the Mus'haf or by heart. It is recommended for a person in a state of ritual impurity to wash their private parts and perform ablution if they intend to sleep, based on the hadith of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) when he asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Can one of us sleep while he is in a state of ritual impurity?" He said, "Yes, if he performs ablution."
