What is the optimal course of action with a sorcerer who continues to set jinn upon me after I have confronted him to no avail?
It is recommended to recite the prescribed protective supplications and remembrances (adhkar), such as diligently performing the obligatory prayers, staying away from sins, reciting the morning and evening adhkar, adhkar for entering and exiting the home, and adhkar for entering the lavatory. These will suffice you against the evil of every harm-doer. It is not permissible to accuse anyone of sorcery without clear evidence, as this involves prohibited evil suspicion. If there is a suspicion of being afflicted by sorcery, performing Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism/healing) is legislated. As for killing a sorcerer, this is the prerogative of the Imam of the Muslims or his representative, and it is not permissible for individuals, for taking a life unjustly is one of the gravest sins. If someone aggresses against you, you can file a complaint with the judiciary.
